Simmonds Ltd is an art direction studio. Based in London and founded by Christopher Simmonds.

Christopher Simmonds is a provocateur who constantly challenges the notions of what a fashion image can be. He has successfully helped shape the visual imagery of countless brands, most significantly through the hugely productive relationship with Alessandro Michele, whereby he was co-conspirator since 2014 on the Gucci projects during Michele’s immensely fruitful time at the house. From Rome, to Hollywood, to outer space, via Noah’s Ark, the breadth of creativity knew no bounds and resulted in some of the most memorable advertising images of the period, via the lenses of creators such as Glen Luchford, Harmony Korine, Gus Van Sant, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Mert and Marcus.

Together with Francesca Burns, he is also the co-founder of PRINT, an independent publishing phenomena which champions freedom of voice for all those featured within. Since 2016 there have been five issues, each exploring the kaleidoscopic potential of what a magazine could be, within the confines of a generic brown box.
